To trigger Death by Flower Scent in The Sims 4, first, you need to unlock Level 9 of the Flower Arranging skill. Then, grab a Death Flower and add it to your flower arrangement. The scent will kill elders on the spot.
Young adults and adults will instantly age up if they sniff a death-scented bouquet.
If your target is an adult, you’ll need to gift them two or three bouquets scented with a Death Flower to get the job done.
Long story short, each death-scented gift ages the giftee up once. If they are elders, it kills them.
As you already noticed, to make a death-scented bouquet, you need a Death Flower. There are two main ways to get a Death Flower in The Sims 4: buy rare seed packs or graft a Pomegranate with an Orchid.
By the way, you need Seasons to kill Sims using death-scented flower arrangements.
If you don’t own this expansion pack, you can quickly get rid of elder Sims by bringing them into a state of extreme physical tiredness. Have them go for a quick jogging session and then have them woohoo to overexert them.
Level up your Sim’s flower arrangement skill
Leveling up your Sim’s flower arrangement skill lets you create intricate arrangements that you can then sell for lots of Simoleons.
Each flower arrangement skill level lets you access additional arrangement options and flowers. Starting with Level 3, you can add special scents to your bouquets.
After reaching Level 10 of the Flower Arranging skill, you can add Orchid scents to your flower arrangements.
By the way, the Inspired moodlet increases the quality of your flower arrangements.
Learn more about Sim Deaths
If Death by Flower Scent doesn’t really appeal to you, you can trigger death by starvation, electrocution, overexertion, meteorite, fire, Pufferfish, Cowplant, or drowning.
Other potentially deadly activities include drinking Beetle Juice, rock climbing, using the Research Machine, relaxing in the sauna, using a vending machine, opening a Murphy Bed, or making a wish at the Wishing Well.
If you have Seasons, Sims can freeze to death, get heatstroke, or get struck by lightning.
The Sims 4 universe is full of angry flies, poisonous bugs, pets infected with Rabid Rodent Fever, and revengeful Mother Plants.
By the way, spellcasters can die of Magic Overload and vampires can burn to a crisp from sun exposure.
Emotional deaths such as Death by Anger, Laughter, and Embarrassment are also interesting options although they require a lot of work to trigger.
If your Sims live in the countryside, angry rabbits and chickens can attack and kill them.
If you want to get rid of teenagers, you’ve got two options: Death by Stink Capsule or Urban Myth.
Well, if your Sims have managed to escape all these dangers, they can’t escape Old Age.
Or maybe they can if you disable this feature.
Happy Simming!
