The Sims 4: How to trigger Death by Electrocution

The-Sims-4-death-by-electrocution

To trigger Death by Electrocution in The Sims 4, take a Sim with low Handiness skill and have them repair broken electric objects.

Electric shocks will make your Sim’s needs drop dangerously low. After getting shocked once, your Sim will get the Seriously Fried moodlet.

They won’t die but will get Dazed. If you look closer, you’ll also notice smoke coming out of your Sim.

Have them repair other broken appliances while Dazed, and they’ll hit the bucket after the second electric shock.

Sims that died by electrocution have sparks inside them.

That’s a quick way to tell how they died.

Move puddles underneath your Sim

To make sure your Sim dies of electrocution, have them repair broken electric objects while standing in a puddle.

You can use the bb.moveobjects cheat to move the puddles underneath your Sim and the objects they’re repairing.

Additionally, have all of their needs in orange or red. This will speed up the process.

Bring Gremlins on and enable the Cursed lot trait

If you have the Gremlins lot challenge, all of your household appliances will break down by morning. As a quick reminder, those nasty Gremlins will pay you a visit during nighttime and break all of your appliances.

Your Sim will spend hours trying to repair all the items that the Gremlins destroyed.

If your Sim has a low Handiness skill level, chances are they’ll quickly get fried.

However, if your Sim manages to improve their Handiness skill fast, you’ll have a hard time killing them by electrocution.

If they level up too much, they’ll become a master repairman and successfully avoid getting electrocuted.

In this case, enable the Cursed lot trait. This trait will make life very difficult for your Sim.

Reset your Sim’s Handiness skill

If you still can’t electrocute your Sim, reset their handiness skill to 1. Enable cheats, select your Sim and use the stats.set_skill_level Major_Handiness 1 cheat code to change their Handiness skill level back to 1.

Have them repair another broken item and that should do it.

Press the Big Red Button in the Scientist career

If you own the Get to Work expansion pack, enroll your seem in the Scientist career. Then go to the Chemistry Lab and have them Press the Big Red Button.

After using this interaction, your Sim should get the Seriously Fried moodlet. Have them fix any broken electric object and they should get electrocuted on the spot.

How do you save a Sim dying from electrocution?

If your Sim hasn’t died after the first electric shock, have them take a quick shower. That should help them get rid of all residual electricity.

Don’t let them repair any broken electric items while the Seriously Fried is still on. If they get another electric shock, the Grim Reaper will pay them a quick visit.

That’s for sure.

Happy Simming!
