The quickest way to cause Death by Mother Plant in The Sims 4 is to have your Sim fight or taunt the Mother without any help. You cannot defeat the Mother by yourself. She will kill you instantly if you don’t have a team to rely on.
Who is the Mother Plant?
The Mother Plant is a deadly plant and the source of all evil and weirdness in The Sims 4: StrangerVille.
She makes bizarre fruit that will cause townies to be possessed. If everyone’s possessed in Strangerville, you can bet the Mother is the culprit.
If you want your Sims to stay alive, you need to create a detailed step-by-step action plan and stick to it.
How to defeat the Mother Plant in The Sims 4
To defeat the Mother Plant in The Sims 4, you need to thoroughly prepare for battle. First, you need to create a vaccine that will deal damage to the Mother. Then, gather three Sims and drink the vaccine together.
After drinking the vaccine, you can go to the Mother’s lair and attack her.
The battle will be a fierce one. Possessed townies will attack you in an attempt to protect the Mother.
The Mother herself will fight you and try to infect you and your team to bring you under her control.
Choose your strategy wisely
The success of your attack depends on choosing the right strategy.
You have seven group commands at your disposal. Carefully assess the situation before using them.
Here’s what each group command does.
Be Careful!
Use this command if you want to make your team more resistant to infection. The downside is that your team’s attack power will be reduced.
Charge!
Use this command to increase your team’s attack power to deal more damage. However, this command makes everybody more vulnerable to infection.
Mega Spray
If you want to deal extra damage to the Mother, this is the right command to use.
Take A Breather
Use this command to heal your teammates and stop the infection from spreading in their bodies. They won’t be able to deal any damage while this command is active.
Throw Infection Vaccine
When you use this command, your Sim will take a vaccine from their inventory and use it to deal damage to The Mother.
Warbling War Cry
Use this command to get rid of the Mother’s minions. Possessed Sims will constantly attack you trying to protect the Mother.
Retreat
If you notice you don’t stand a chance against the Mother, use this command to abandon the fight.
What happens if I lose the fight against the Mother Plant?
If you lose the battle, the Mother Plant will eat your Sim and possess your teammates. The Mother will instantly kill your Sim. You don’t stand a chance against her if you’re by yourself.
How to befriend the Mother Plant
You can use friendly interactions in an attempt to level up your relationship with the Mother Plant.
You can use this strategy to prevent her from attacking your Sim and avoid Death by Mother Plant.
Possessed Sims can build their relationship with the Mother faster than other Sims. After all, they speak the same language as the mother.
Keep in mind that your relationship with the Mother will start in the red from the very beginning.
After leveling up your relationship to neutral, you can ask her to grant you one wish per day. For example, you can ask her to extend your Sim’s life.
As you can see, you’ve got two options when it comes to interacting with the Mother Plant. You can either try to befriend or destroy her.
But if you fail to defeat her, death is imminent.
Learn more about Sim Deaths
If watching your Sim get killed by the Mother Plant doesn’t really appeal to you, you can trigger death by starvation, electrocution, overexertion, meteorite, fire, Pufferfish, Cowplant, or drowning.
Other potentially deadly activities include drinking Beetle Juice, sniffing a Death Flower bouquet, rock climbing, using the Research Machine, relaxing in the sauna, using a vending machine, opening a Murphy Bed, or making a wish at the Wishing Well.
If you have Seasons, Sims can freeze to death, get heatstroke, or get struck by lightning.
The Sims 4 universe is full of angry flies, poisonous bugs, and pets infected with Rabid Rodent Fever.
By the way, spellcasters can die of Magic Overload and vampires can burn to a crisp from sun exposure.
Emotional deaths such as Death by Anger, Laughter, and Embarrassment are also interesting options although they require a lot of work to trigger.
If your Sims live in the countryside, angry rabbits and chickens can attack and kill them.
If you want to get rid of teenagers, you’ve got two options: Death by Stink Capsule or Urban Myth.
Well, if your Sims have managed to escape all these dangers, they can’t escape Old Age.
Or maybe they can if you disable this feature.
Happy Simming!
