Can toddlers freeze to death in The Sims 4?
Toddlers and children can freeze to death in Sims 4 just like adult Sims. The only difference is that toddlers have only one freezing stage as a sad moodlet.

How to freeze your Sim to death
If you want to watch your Sim freezing to death in extremely cold temperatures, get The Sims 4 Season package.
To send your Sim to the other realm fast, act when there’s a blizzard outside or create one using the Weather Control Device.

If you want to get rid of your Sim much quicker, take them to the swimming pool, let them swim for a while, and then expose them to cold temperatures.
To speed up the whole process, you can throw water balloons at your Sim.
Alternatively, interacting with a Ghost that died by freezing using the Cool Down Sim interaction will make your Sim very cold in the blink of an eye.
Preventing Sims from freezing to death
Now, if you want to protect your Sims and prevent them from freezing to death, make sure they wear warm clothes when venturing outside during winter blizzards.
Make sure there’s a nice cozy temperature inside the house. Your Sims will appreciate having a warm place to go to after spending time outside in cold temperatures.
Alternatively, to completely eliminate the worrisome thought that your Sims might freeze to death, you can turn off the effects of extreme conditions from the game options.
