How to make money fast in The Sims 4: Vampires

The-Sims-4-Vampires-make-money

Vampires are creatures of the night but even they need money. There are bills to pay, broken household items to replace or upgrade, and maybe a bigger house to buy.

So, how do you make money as a vampire? Let’s find out!

5 methods to make money as a vampire in The Sims 4

Get a vampire-friendly job

Vampires can’t really get a daytime job because they’re vulnerable to sunlight. If they spend too much time outside during the day, the Sun’s rays will kill them.

You’ve got two options to work your way around this limitation:

  • Rank up and unlock the Sun Resistance perk
  • Get a vampire-friendly job

The best jobs for vampires are those that allow them to work from home or at night. Being a writer, painter, Simfluencer, or video game streamer are all excellent choices.

If your vampire has the Sun Resistance perk, they can garden in the middle of the day without any problem. They can also grow money trees in a greenhouse.

But not all jobs are lucrative. Only very few of them can make your Sim rich.

If your Sim is going to work for someone else, at least get a high-paying job. Ideally, get a job that suits their personality.

Invite other vampires to join your household

You can befriend other vampires and ask them to join your household. If they accept your invitation, their money will be transferred to your household when they move in.

For example, in my gameplay, I convinced Vladislaus Straud, Caleb Vatore, and Lilith Vatore to join my household. After they moved in, my household funds went up to 150,000 Simoleons.

Thanks to this strategy, my vampire, Ava von Staub, didn’t have to get a job to make ends meet.

Instead, she was able to focus on leveling up her Vampire Lore skill and getting more Power Points to unlock new vampire powers.

Be a Black Widow

Your vampire can get their hands on lots of Simoleons by marrying a rich Sim. Then, drink their blood until they die. Find a new target, rinse and repeat.

To make this task easier, unlock the Vampiric Charm, Allure, and Fascination perks. These perks increase your vampire’s attractiveness in the eyes of other Sims.

They’re also compatible with your vampire’s romantic orientation settings.

Ask for loans

Vampires with high Charisma can ask for loans from other Sims and never pay them back.

Just don’t try to get loans from the same Sims. Find new townies to squeeze money from and you should be just fine.

Anyway, your vampire will outlive anyone they borrowed money from.

Steal things from other Sims

Give your vampire the Always Welcome trait and Eternally Welcome power and they can’t get locked out.

If they have the Klepto trait, send them out to steal things at night. You can then sell the things they stole and increase your household funds.

Happy Simming!
