Cross-stitching is a really fun hobby in The Sims 4 Cottage Living. Your Sim can create really amazing cross-stitch pieces of art. They can use them as decorations, or gift them to other Sims. Your Sim can also sell cross-stitch pieces to earn some extra money from their hobby.
How do I unlock new cross-stitch patterns in Sims 4?
Practicing cross-stitching allows Sims to unlock additional cross-stitch patterns. As your Sim levels up their cross-stitching skills, they can learn new patterns. When their skill level is high enough (Level 5), they can also use photos to “Stitch from Reference”.
Talking about cross-stitching with other Sims will also give your Sim some inspiration to create new patterns. Running errands for the villagers will also unlock new patterns. Additionally, when you gift wild animals, they may sometimes give you new pattern ideas in return.
Use cheats to unlock cross-stitch patterns
Press the Ctrl, Shift, and C keys to enable the cheat console. Then, Shift-click on the cross-stitching box to unlock all patterns. You can now use all the cross-stitch patterns available in the game.
