Can you make cheese in Sims 4 Cottage Living?

If you want to experience the joys of living in the countryside, Sims 4 Cottage Living is the right expansion package for you. You can take care of animals, breed chickens, befriend wild animals, forage for mushrooms, try your hand at canning, run errands for the villagers, and so on. There’s plenty of work to do, and no time to get bored.

If you want to raise lots of animals, cows are a a top-priority. They give you milk which you can use in a variety of recipes or sell it for some extra Simoleons. But there’s one milk-related question that’s been bugging many players. And that is “How do you make cheese in Cottage Living“?

Can you make cheese in Cottage Living?

Sims can make cheese in Cottage Living. Click on your fridge or stove, select the Cook menu, and cheese is at the top of the list. Making cheese requires cooking skill level 1, and 2 bottles of milk. This results in 8 servings of delicious cheese. By the way, making cheese also requires an open counter top and a working stove top.

One cow can give you enough milk to make cheese. You don’t need to add multiple cows on your lot. As a quick reminder, you get about six bottles of milk each time you milk a cow, and you only need two to start making cheese.

You can then use homemade cheese as a cooking ingredient for other recipes.

Buy cheese online or from the local market stall

Groceries are back in Sims 4 Cottage Living which means you can order cheese online as well. Or you can visit the Finchwick Neighborhood, and buy cheese from the local market stall.

Taking care of cows takes a lot of time. You need to clean the shed every day, feed the animals, and build your relationship with your cows for them to produce good quality milk. If you think that’s too much, you can simply order milk and cheese online or buy these two ingredients from the market stall.
