If you’re running out of Sims 4 gameplay ideas, you’ve come to the right place. In this quick guide, I’ll list 5 interesting Eco Lifestyle gameplay ideas to spice up your Sims 4 game.
Let’s dive right in!
What can you do with The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle pack?
Build a community garden
The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle lets you build community gardens where townies can plant seeds and grow their own food.
What’s more rewarding than becoming self-sufficient and growing your own food?
If you own Get Together, you can create Gardening clubs and invite everyone to water the plants, fertilize them and harvest the crops.
If you also own Seasons, keep in mind that seasonality will affect what plants you can grow. To bypass this limitation and grow plants in all seasons, you need to build a greenhouse.
You can use vertical planters to grow more plants in your greenhouse.
After building a community garden, you can also build a market to sell produce.
Play Rags to Riches in Evergreen Harbor
If you’re a fan of the Rags to Riches challenge, you can play it in Evergreen Harbor. This location lets you play this challenge on steroids.
You can go to the community lots to use the bathroom, sleep and get free stuff from the community gardens.
Your homeless Sim can also go dumpster diving and find lots of handy stuff. You can create a Freegan homeless Sim that is anticonsumerism.
The Freegan trait is a uniquely challenging type of trait. Pair it with the Rags to Riches challenge and you’ll have loads of fun.
Clean the world
You can create a hippie Sim or a vegan yogi Sim that cleans up the world of Evergreen Harbor and makes it eco-friendly.
If you own City Living, you can make your hippie Sim a politician.
If you own Get Together, you can create an Eco club and have Sims protest in Evergreen Harbor against pollution and the destruction of the environment.
Recycle everything
If you’ve always dreamt about recycling used stuff and saving the planet, you can make this dream of yours come true in Eco Lifestyle.
The Fabricator is a tool that runs on Bits and Pieces. You can use it to craft various items out of recycled materials.
Collect recyclable items from dumpsters, and put them into the recycler to make Bits and Pieces. The machine can chew up anything.
You can then feed the Bits and Pieces into the Fabricator to make new items.
To make additional types of furniture, you need to level up your Fabrication skill.
The initial cost of the Fabricator can be quite high. This can put many Simmers off.
However, buying a Fabricator is a good investment. You can then sell the items you craft and earn some extra Simoleons.
Experiment with all of the NAPs
The best way to learn more about Neighborhood Action Plans is to actually vote and experiment with them. These are temporary rules that affect the lives of all the townies.
There are over 20 NAPS that you can enact in Eco Lifestyle. Try voting for the Sharing is Caring NAP and then steal all your neighbors’ things.
This NAP turns everyone into kleptomaniacs.
Don’t be surprised if various household items start disappearing from your house all of a sudden.
Test all of the NAPs and keep voting for those you like best.
