Battlefield 2042: How to use the wingsuit

battlefield-2042-how-to-use-wingsuit

Battlefield 2042 adds a plethora or new features, such as smart bombs and wingsuits.

The wingsuit can only be used by a certain Specialist, namely Emma Sundance Rosier. That Wingsuit is her specific Specialty, it’s unique to her. Other Specialists can’t use the wingsuit.

You can use the wing suit in a tornado to reposition yourself and fly across the map. In this manner, you can gain more visibility over the battlefield.

How to use the Wingsuit in Battlefield 2042

  • Step 1: Go to higher ground and jump off.
  • Step 2: Select the on-screen Deploy wingsuit prompt.
  • Step 3: Use the default flight controls to control the direction.
  • Step 4: To land, reduce speed, go near the ground and hit the Undeploy button.

As you can see, first, you need to drop from a great height. For example, you can use a zipline to go to higher ground and then simply jump off. Then deploy the wingsuit and fly through the air.

Once you’re in the air, you can control the direction using the default flight controls and cover great distances. Flying through the air is certainly stealthier compared to calling in a helicopter which generates a lot of noise.

Watch out for tornadoes

In one out of ten games, BF 2042 players might experience fierce tornadoes that will swallow up everything in their path. They can also pull in players that are using parachutes and wingsuits. If you get sucked in, you’ll get thrown out to a different part of the map. Do keep this detail in mind.

While many players may want to try out the futuristic-looking Wingsuit, you need to select the right specialist to use it. That might be frustrating for some players that might not want play as Emma Rosier just for the sake of the Wingsuit.

But if you want to become a flying squirrel and soar over the battlefield, you need to select Emma Rosier.

As a quick reminder, Specialist have their own unique Specialist Trait and Specialty, with fully customizable Loadouts.

Are you planning to play as Emma Rosier just for sake of the wingsuit itself? Let me know in the comments below.
