How to unlock Dormant Werewolf Abilities
Dormant Abilities require Ability Points to unlock. Once you’ve fulfilled all the requirements, and performed specific actions, you can unlock those abilities.
Dormant abilities have story-based unlocks.
Here’s a list of the Dormant Abilities you can unlock in The Sims 4 Werewolves:
- Werewolf Empathy
- Werewolf Mentorship
- Werewolf Diplomacy
- Lunar Epiphany
- Werewolf Menace
- Transformation Mastery
Transformation Mastery
Turn into a werewolf at will.
Staying contained and away from others while rampaging will grant werewolves a brief moment of clarity. This insight will help them master the art of transformation, granting the ability to call upon the werewolf form at any time while retaining a semblance of humanity.
Be warned! Even with this newfound mastery, werewolves will still be susceptible to the ever-encroaching Fury boiling within.
To unlock the Transformation Mastery ability, you need to go through a full rampage cycle without scaring other Sims.
That can be a difficult task. Most Sims will automatically get the Scared buff when they encounter a werewolf.
Werewolf Mentorship
Teach other werewolves with skill and grace.
Werewolves possessing this ability have been around the block, and have a wealth of insight on all things werewolf. Werewolves under their guidance will receive bonus rank, mood, and relationship gains when being mentored, taught to howl, or having werewolf experiences shared with them.
If you’re planning to become a caregiver for werewolf toddlers, this is the ability you need to unlock to get the job done.
To unlock the Werewolf Mentorship ability, you need to run Practice Howling, Share Werewolf Experience, or Pack Mentor as a veteran werewolf on a Good Friend werewolf.
Lunar Epiphany
Read the ancient werewolf writing.
Your werewolf can comprehend the lost secrets of the moon. This is an important step towards understanding the history and nature of werewolves, and can lead to learning how to cure this ailment for good.
To unlock the Lunar Epiphany ability, read werewolf-related literature. Go to the library and read as many books on werewolves as you can.
Werewolf Empathy
Help pacify other werewolves.
After spending enough time around other werewolves, you’ll learn a thing or two about their behavior. Sometimes, a werewolf just needs another werewolf to hear them out. With Pacify, you can remove all Fury from another werewolf and even prevent them from rampaging.
To unlock the Werewolf Empathy ability, you need to reach the Delta rank in a wolf pack. To rise to the ranks of the pack, do actions that align with the pack’s values and benefit its members.
Werewolf Menace
Your Werewolf Sim has given in to the werewolf within and now has a thirst for chaos. Scaring others will now make him feel playful! Sure, it’s not nice to antagonize someone who is already terrified, but they left nice on the side of the road a long time ago.
To unlock the Werewolf Menace ability, you need to do Ferocious Intimidation, Turn into Werewolf, or do a Vicious Howl on a Sim who is already frightened, while still being below maximum Fury.
Werewolf Diplomacy
Use diplomacy to win over werewolf allies.
Werewolves with this ability have the social tools to convince others that werewolves are still somewhat human. They can use this skill to bestow the Werewolf Ally trait on Sims, changing their outlook on werewolves forever.
To unlock the Werewolf Diplomacy ability, you need to successfully Ask for Werewolf Sympathy on a non-werewolf Sim.
How do you reset werewolf abilities in The Sims 4?
To reset your werewolf abilities, you need to harvest a Moonpetal flower during a full moon. Place the Moonpetal in your inventory, click on it, and have your werewolf eat it.
Your sim will receive a notification that reads: “Through the power of the Moonpetal, your Sim’s werewolf perks have been reset, and all ability points have been refunded.”
You can find Moonpetal flowers at the howling point in Moonwood Mill.
