If you have Eco-Lifestyle installed, you’ll get some random notifications to get married in 7 days if you want to inherit a bunch of money.

This forces you to choose between sticking with your current gameplay idea or heading down a different path.

The amount of money you get after marrying for inheritance varies. Some Sims may get 5K Simoleons, while others may inherit over 10K Simoleons.

If you’re doing the Rags to Riches challenge, this is an excellent opportunity to get your hands on some money.

How do I get married for money in The Sims 4?

To get married for money in The Sims 4, you first need to accept the offer of inheritance over the phone. You have seven days to find a rich Sim, make them fall in love with you, and get married.

To speed things up, don’t plan a big wedding event. Instead, elope immediately with your partner to satisfy the hidden conditions of the reward.

You don’t need a wedding event to get the inheritance money. The Elope option works just fine.

After getting the notification that confirms you inherited the money, feel free to get a divorce if you feel your spouse is not your soulmate.

But there’s a quicker way to get the money.

If you ask if there are any conditions to getting the inheritance money, you’ll learn that the only condition is to ask if there are any conditions. If you ask that question, you’ll get half the inheritance money.

Pretty cool, isn’t it?

What happens if my Sim doesn’t marry for money?

If you choose to ignore the phone call and refuse to marry for money, the Tense moodlet disappears. After a while, you’ll get asked again if you want to marry for money.

You can choose to accept the challenge or continue with your current gameplay.

Happy Simming!
