Sims 4 Cottage Living: How to get sugar and flour

sims-4-cottage-living-flour-sugar

Cottage Living has introduced many new recipes and ingredients. For example, you can prepare delicious jams, or special recipes for lactose-intolerant Sims. There are some cooking ingredients you can grow, gather, or make.

For example, if you buy a cow, you’ll get around six bottles of milk every day. Buy a few chickens, and you’ll have eggs. But there are some ingredients that you can’t grow and your animals can’t produce. The only solution is to buy them from the Finchwick Fair or order them online from the Grocery Store.

Where can you get sugar and flour from in Cottage Living?

If you need sugar or flour for your recipes, the quickest way to get the ingredients is to order them online. To order flour or sugar online, click on the phone or the fridge, and select Order a Delivery. Click on Grocery Delivery, and then click on Accept the delivery when the delivery person shows up at your doorstep.

Alternatively, you can also go to the Finchwick Fair and buy flour and sugar from the local market stall. The main advantage is that you can haggle and negotiate for a lower price. Interact with the shopkeeper first, use a few friendly interactions, and they may agree to sell you the ingredients for a lower price.

Can you make your own flour in Cottage Living?

Unfortunately, you can’t make your own flour in The Sims 4 Cottage Living. That would have been a handy option but unfortunately it’s not supported. Well, ordering flour from Grocery Delivery is more convenient anyway.

While recipes that contain a lot of flour and sugar are tasty, they’re also addictive. If your Sims eat to much sugar, they’ll get fat, and you’ll need to put them on a diet.

Hit the comments below and let me know what recipes you cooked in Cottage Living. Do you prefer to buy your cooking ingredients or grow them?
