Plead with the Grim Reaper
You can have another Sim plead with the Grim Reaper for the life of a Sim that has recently died. If the plea is successful, the Grim Reaper will bring the dead Sim back to life.
The pleading Sim needs to have the Fine or Happy buff to be able to ask the Grim Reaper not to take their friend to the realm of the dead.
Pleading Sims have a pretty low success rate. In about 70 percent of cases, the Reaper refuses their demand.

Have ghosts eat Ambrosia to resurrect them
You can cook a special Ambrosia dish and have ghost Sims eat it to bring them back to life.
The hardest part is obtaining Ambrosia. You need to mix a Death Flower, an Angelfish, and a Potion of Youth to obtain Ambrosia.
You also need Level 10 in Cooking and Gourmet Cooking to be able to make Ambrosia.

Use the Book of Life to resurrect dead Sims

The trick is to use the Capture Epic Saga interaction on the Sim that you want to resurrect before they die.
If you fail to do that, there will be no Book of Life and you won’t be able to bring them back to life.
Ghosts can make a wish to be resurrected
Ghosts can go to the Wishing Well and make a wish to be resurrected. The bad news is that the result is not guaranteed. It all depends on the mood of the well.
For example, if the well has a positive mood, your Sim will instantly be resurrected, or they’ll receive Ambrosia in their inventory.
On the other hand, if the well has a negative mood, your Sim’s wish will be rejected and they won’t be able to come back to the realm of the living.
Spellcasters can resurrect dead Sims
If your Sim is a spellcaster, make sure they learn the Dedeathify spell. You can then use it on dead Sims to bring them back to life.
Dedeathify is a special spell that only Rank 5 or Master level spellcasters can use.
To cast this spell, the ghost of the Sim you want to resurrect must still be around.
