How do I unlock Black Knife Tiche in Elden Ring?
To unlock the Black Knife Tiche spirit summon, you need to complete Ranni’s quest. Then, go to Ringleader’s Evergaol, enter the boss arena and kill Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader. The Black Knife Tiche spirit summon is your reward for killing Alecto.
Steps to get Black Knife Tiche
- Accept Ranni’s offer and enter her service
- Complete her questline to access the Moonlight Altar Site of Grace
- Rest there for a while, and then head to Ringleader’s Evergaol
- Walk to the middle circle and interact with it
- Accept to be transported into the Evergaol boss arena
- Defeat Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader
- Claim the Black Knife Tiche summon
How to defeat Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader
You need to defeat Alecto by yourself. You can’t summon spirits and can’t ask other players to help you either.
Alecto can move really fast and hits like a truck. Roll as fast as you can to dodge her attacks, they’re extremely powerful and can take you out instantly. During combat, she’ll heavily rely on her speed. Apply the Glintstone Pebble Ash to your weapon and use it when Alecto is about to land a hit to interrupt her attack.
Watch out for her flaming blade as well. That weapon can create a circular AoE that can inflict heavy damage.
The good news is that her AoE attack leaves her open for a couple of seconds. Try to take advantage of those brief moments to launch your attacks.
Summon Black Knife Tiche to defeat high HP bosses
The Black Knife Tiche spirit can move very fast which makes her difficult to kill. She uses a hit-and-run strategy, and a red flame projectile that rarely misses the target. She can successfully draw the attention of bosses away from you. Use those moments to deliver devastating hits and defeat your opponents.
Summoning Black Knife Tiche costs 132 FP. Make sure to replenish FP fast if you’re planning to summon Black Knife Tiche.
