How do I roll faster in Elden Ring?
To roll faster in Elden Ring, you need to equip lighter weapons and armor and level up Endurance to increase your maximum load capabilities. For the fastest roll, reduce your equipment weight to 30 percent or under. Equipment load is the total weight of your weapons and armor.
Additionally, use talismans that increase equipment load. Erdtree’s Favor Talisman and Great Jar’s Arsenal give you bonus equipment load.
Keep in mind that secondary weapons also add up to your equipment load. If you want to move fast, don’t equip a secondary weapon or shield unless absolutely necessary.
The total equipment weight is given by the weapons and armor equipped and not the things in your inventory. By the way, you can sort your inventory items to find the item you need faster.
Roll speed status in Elden Ring
Roll speed in Elden Ring varies depending on the weight you’re carrying. There are four roll speed statuses available in the game:
- Light roll where your equipment load is under 31 percent
- Medium roll where your equipment roll is under 70 percent
- Heavy roll where your equipment roll is over 71 percent
- Over-encumbered: your equipment roll is over 100 percent
Being able to roll fast in Elden Ring can help you get out of harm’s way. While equipping heavier weapons and armor allows you to send enemies flying, this also increases your equipment load making you slower.
