If your Sims keep getting sick and you’re using mods, Slice of Life is probably the culprit. This mod adds a plethora of illnesses to the table that can affect Sims out of the blue.
Your Sims may suddenly exhibit symptoms of Llama Fever, Bloaty Head, Sweaty Shivers, and other illnesses.
Being sick is no fun at all. Your Sims will feel uncomfortable for a few days and will hardly be able to pursue their regular activities and schedule.
If you’re not using mods, and your Sims are getting sick too often, this usually indicates they have an unhealthy lifestyle. Sleep deprivation, lousy hygiene, and eating spoiled food or loads of junk food will make your Sims sick.
Your Sims will catch a cold if they spend too much time in cold weather dressed in summer clothes.
The same thing happens if your Sims spend too much time around sick Sims. For example, if one Sim in your household gets sick, and then gets cured, a different household member will soon get the illness.
⇒ Quick Tip:
- If your Sim’s got tiger stripes on their body, this indicates they have Itchy Plumbob. To cure this illness, you need to buy some medicine from your computer.
How to stop Sims from getting sick so frequently
If you use Slice of Life, make sure to vaccinate your Sims to prevent lots of unwanted illnesses.
If you have Spa Day installed, level up your Sim’s Wellness skill. Simmers noticed that Sims with a high enough Wellness skill rarely get sick.
To help your Sims get well again, click on the computer and buy some medicine. Then, have them drink tea and orange juice. Natural home remedies work wonders.
Do that and they should start feeling better after a couple of hours.
Happy Simming!
