WooHoo Partners is a new Sims 4 feature that allows adult Sims to ask other Sims to become woohoo partners without getting romantically attached. WooHoo partners can become physically intimate without having any romantic attachments.
In other words, you can use the Woohoo Partners option to become friends with benefits with other Sims without any strings attached.
All these options related to your Sim’s romantic orientation come out with the High School Years pack and are available in the base game as well.
How to become WooHoo Partners in Sims 4
To become WooHoo partners in The Sims 4, you need to first become close friends with the Sim you’re interested in. Level up your Friendship bar until the “WooHoo Partners” option becomes available.
If they accept, you can woohoo with them without the romance prerequisites.
If they refuse, this will lead to an awkward conversation afterward.
To increase your chances of finding WooHoo partners quickly, first, become close friends with them, and then talk about love matters.
Becoming WooHoo partners is not guaranteed
Becoming WooHoo partners with close friends is not guaranteed. Some will accept, others will refuse. The mechanics behind socials of this nature are very complex and full of nuance.
If you want to play as an Aromantic Sim, you can use this option to find woohoo partners without developing any romantic attachment beforehand.
EA confirmed they added the “WooHoo Partners” option to better reflect Aromatic Sims and support additional romantic lifestyles.
WooHoo is typically gated behind romance. To better reflect Aromantic Sims and a greater variety of lifestyles, we’ve added the ability for young adult Sims and older, to ask close friends to be WooHoo Partners.
Can I change my Sim’s romantic preferences?
You can change your Sim’s romantic settings at any time in CAS and they’ll reflect in your gameplay.
Click on a mirror or dresser, select Change Sim, and click on the Sexual Orientation tab. Then, tweak your Sim’s romantic interests to reflect their new preferences.
Ask other Sims about their romantic orientation
You can ask other Sims about their orientation through specific interactions.
You’ll need to become friends before you can ask them any personal questions about their romantic preferences or suggest you become WooHoo partners.
So, make sure to work on your friendship bar first if you want to discuss matters related to romantic orientation with other Sims.
