The new Sims 4 Spa Day version has added a very useful option to the table: you can now place massage tables and chairs anywhere you like. Let’s jump right in and talk about the latest changes and improvements.
Portable massage tables and chairs in Spa Day
The Sims 4 Spa Day features portable massage tables and chairs. This means that you can add them to your Sim’s inventory. Then you can go to the park, place a massage table or chair under a tree and let others Sims know you’re offering paid massage services.
There are also luxurious massage tables and chairs in the game which you cannot move. You can only use them inside the Spa building.
Massage chair services
If you click on a massage chair, you’ll get a series of options that you can choose from, such as:
- Relax
- Manicures and Pedicures
- Massages
- Tend
- Promote Massage Chair Services on Simstagram
- Put in Inventory
By the way, speaking of manicure, there are tons of new options available in terms of nail shapes and colors. There’s also a special set of nail design options courtesy of Ebonix. Do check out the new options!
Massage table services
If you click on a portable massage table, you’ll get the following options:
- Tend Massage Table
- Ask for Massage
- Hire Massage Therapist
- Offer Massage
- Put in inventory
By the way, if you have Get Famous installed, you’ll earn extra fame for offering massage services in open spaces such as parks.
Being able to offer massage services anywhere you want gives your Sims an extra way to make more money.
Massage types available on a massage table
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Fertility Massage
- Lavender Aromatherapy
- Lotus Blossom Aromatherapy
- Mint and Rosemary Aromatherapy
- Swedish Massage
- Sports Massage
- Stone Massage
- Yiang Yiang Aromatherapy
As a quick reminder, Fertility Massage is available only for female Sims and helps increase the likelihood of having twins or triplets. However, fertility massages won’t help if your female Sim is infertile.
Massage moodlets
- Low Wellness Skill Hand Massage gives you the Happy Moodlet for 1 to 4h.
- High Wellness Hand Massage gives you a Happy Moodlet boost that lasts from 2 to 4 hours.
- Low Wellness Skill Foot Massage gives you the Happy Moodlet for 2 to 6h.
- High Wellness Foot Massage means your Sim will get the Happy Moodlet for 3 to 6h.
