If your Sim fails to take good care of their plants, they’ll wither and die. When plants are dying, they usually startĀ emitting green smoke.

The worst-case scenario happens when your Money Trees wither and die. As a quick reminder, Money Trees can make your Sims rich.

What’s the solution?

The Sims 4: Revive dead plant cheat

The quickest solution to revive dead plants in The Sims 4 is through cheats. Press Ctrl, Shift, and C, type in testingcheats true and hit Enter.

Then, Shift-click on the dead plant, select Set Gardening State, click on Growth Stage, and select Blossoming.

But what if you don’t like using cheats?

Sims that have reached Level 8 of the Gardening can revive plants for 100 Simoleons. The option to revive dead plants won’t show up unless your Sim is in an Inspired mood.

After reviving your dead plants, make sure to water and fertilize them. If your Sim has a big garden, consider hiring a gardener to help them out.

In this manner, your plants won’t die if your Sim is too busy doing other things.

Another solution is to add more Sims to your household and level up their Gardening skills. Having all the household members focus on gardening is an excellent idea, especially if that’s your primary income source.

If you own Get Together, you can create a club and call the townies over to take care of your plants. The best part is they’ll do it for free.

In other words, you can create a Gardening Club, and have its members tend your garden for free.

By the way, this is an excellent strategy to get rich fast in The Sims 4 without doing too much work.
