There are three ways to get rare plants in The Sims 4: buy rare seed packets, explore specific locations or use special grafting combos.
To get rare plant seeds, level up your Sim’s Gardening skill. After reaching Level 10 in the Gardening skill, your Sim can buy rare seed packets and get their hands on rare plant seeds.
You can find the following plants in rare seed packs:
- Bird of Paradise
- Bonsai Buds
- Dragonfruit
- Growfruit
- Orchid
- UFO Plant
You can also find rare plants and fruit at specific locations.
You can find blackberries in the Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Spring or the Hermit’s garden.
To find Cow berries, have your Sim fish in Sylvain Glade.
You can find rare plants such as Glow Orb, and Quill Fruit by exploring Planet Sixam. You can find rare berries outside the Jungle Temple.
Another way to get rare plants in The Sims 4 is through grafting.
Use the following grafting combos to get rare plants:
- Bonsai Buds: rose on a grape
- Bird of Paradise: tulip on a chrysanthemum
- Cow Berry: dragonfruit on a snapdragon
- Death Flower: pomegranate on an orchid
- Dragonfruit: strawberry on a snapdragon
