How grafting works in Sims 4
Hybrid plants obtained as a result of grafting can grow multiple harvestables at once. After reaching maturity, hybrid plants will bear the harvestables of both plants. Moreover, certain plants may produce a third harvestable which is completely different from the original two.
Keep in mind that grafted plants produce harvestables at the rate of the base plant. Quality and growth rate are given by the base plant.
The only exceptions when it comes to grafting are Mushrooms and the Sixam Mosquito Trap. You can’t used them in any grafting combos.
⇒ Important Note: Too many cuttings can kill a plant. Some plants survive one cut, while others can survive three cuttings.
The Gardening skill is one of the most lucrative skills in the Sims 4. Whether your Sim grows plants as a hobby or full-time job, they’ll cash in lots of Simoleons from selling high-quality harvestables.
