How to evolve Excellent plants in Sims 4

Sims-4-evolve-plants-to-Excellent-quality

If your Sim is pursuing the Freelance Botanist aspiration, they need to evolve 10 plants to Excellent quality. Evolving a plant makes it better in quality. In other words, you can harvest better quality crops, herbs, and flowers.

If you’ve been using plant-based fertilizers but you still can’t evolve your plants, you need to change your strategy. 🌱

How can I evolve plants in Sims 4?

To evolve plants to Excellent quality in The Sims 4, first, you need to level up your Sim’s Gardening skill to at least Level 2. Then, use fish as fertilizer. Fish is the best fertilizer to use if you want to quickly evolve plants to Excellent quality in The Sims 4.

Rare fish make for great fertilizers. Fertilizing your plants with rare fish such as Rainbowfish, Batfish, Sturgeon, or Treefish will boost their quality instantly.

The fresher the fish, the faster the results. However, even poor-quality or foul fish work great as fertilizers.

Additionally, having the Great Soil lot trait will help you grow high-quality plants faster.

Once your plants are ready to evolve, they’ll sparkle. Click on them and select the Evolve option.

Level up the Gardening and Fishing skills

After reaching Level 2 of the Gardening skill and being able to fertilize the garden, you should focus on leveling up your Fishing skill as well.

Even if your Sim is a Level 10 Gardener, they won’t have much success evolving plants to Excellent quality if they’re using the wrong fertilizers.

Evolving plants in The Sims 4 is a tedious task. Leveling up your Gardening and Fishing skills requires a lot of time and effort. But once your Sim has reached Level 6 in both skills, everything will be easier.

To quickly level up your Sim’s Gardening skill, have them do anything related to tending the garden. This includes planting seeds, watering plants, weeding the area, fertilizing plants, spraying for bugs, and so on.

To quickly level up your Sim’s Fishing skill, have them fish at different locations, and ask other Sims to mentor them.

The skill gain rate is much faster when your Sim is Focused.

Happy Simming! 😊
