Free Love is an Action Plan in Sims 4 Eco-Lifestyle that lets players remove negative feelings such as jealousy in their romantic interactions.
The official Free Love description reads as follows:
Who needs negativity when you could be drenched in love? Who needs jealousy when you could be embraced with understanding? Vote with your heart and we can transform our community into a butterfly of love for all. Whether Single, Married, or just open, we embrace loving each other in all of its beautiful forms. When Free Love reigns, you can gain Influence through Romance interactions.
With jealousy out of the way, this means your Sims can engage is a wider range of romantic interactions. And actions what would normally trigger jealousy are now approved upon or simply ignored.
Image your Sim’s partner flirting with another Sim. Usually, such an action would lead to conflict and even public jealous scenes.

But with Free Love in play, the cheated partner would simply ignore the whole thing or look on approvingly.
Once the Free Love plan has been activated, the entire neighborhood becomes more friendly and open to romantic interactions. If two couples meet, they may agree to swap partners just for the fun of it. Obviously, Sims will woohoo much more frequently. Careful not to overexert your Sims though, they can die from too much woohooing.
How to get other Sims to vote out your Free Love Plan
In order for the Free Love Plan to roll out, the community has to vote it out. The good news is that you can influence voters by becoming friends with your neighbors, spending time with them and being socially active in the community.
