The Sims 4 Cottage Living lets you dress your animals up in cute outfits to show them how much you love them. These colorful outfits also help you build your relationship with the animals.

How to get clothes for the animals

Buy clothing items from the Creature Keeper

You can buy animal clothing from the Creature Keeper. He lives in an old cottage in the Bramblewood area. Once you find the Creature Keeper, introduce yourself and start interacting with him. Then use the Buy Animal Clothing option to buy clothes for your favorite animals.

Keep in mind that the Creature Keeper’s stock varies. If you want to buy different clothing items, visit him a few times, and check the offer available that day. For example, you can buy cowbells, sweaters, caps, woven blankets, scarves, hats, bowties for the bunnies, pants, and so on.

Becoming friends with the Creature Caretaker

Sims can become friends with the Creature Caretaker and even run errands for him. He can also buy your llama wool and other items and give you animal clothing in exchange. Or you can give him llama wool and ask him to craft you specific clothing items.

The Creature Caretaker is always surrounded by wild birds, such as bunnies and foxes. He constantly watches over the animals of the village, making sure they’re happy, and well fed.

Knit your own animal clothes

If you have the Nifty Knitting Stuff pack installed, we’ve got an excellent piece of news for you. Your Sims can use llama wool and knit their very own animal clothes. Cool!

How to dress your animals up

After buying the clothes, go to your lot and click on the animal you want to dress up. Select the option to dress them, and then select the clothes you want to dress them up with. You can dress your cows, llamas, chickens, as well as wild animals such as bunnies, and foxes.
