If you like to build a legacy game and watch the destiny of multiple Sim generations unfold before your eyes, then you need to make sure your Sims are having lots of babies.
While there is no sure way to tell if your Sim is having twins, there are a few clues pointing to that direction. And we’ll talk about them in this guide.

Did you know there is a 98 percent chance of your Sims having a single baby, a 10 percent chance of them having twins, and 1 percent chance of your Sims having triplets?
How do you know if you have twins in The Sims 4?
If your Sim is having the Fertile trait and they got pregnant after the first Try for Baby attempt, the chances of them having twins are very high.
If one of the parents is a twin, or both of the parents are twins, this also increases the odds of having twins.

How Can You Have Twins in The Sims 4?
There are a few things you can do to ensure a multiple birth in The Sims 4.
If you have the City Living expansion, and your Sims conceive on a lot that has the On Ley-Line Lot Trait, the chances of multiple births are very high.
Then, if your Sim has reached level 10 in Herbalism, they can prepare the Elixir of Fertility. If your Sims drank this elixir, the chances of having twins or triplets are very high.
But you need the Outdoor Retreat pack to use this method.
If your Sim received the Fertility Massage, this triggers the Fertility Boost moodlet. If your Sim tries for a baby with this moodlet active, the chances of conceiving twins significantly increase.

What can I do to help my Sims conceive twins?
To help your Sims conceive twins, make sure they have the Fertile trait, make them have Fertility Massage, and try to conceive on a lot that has the On Ley-Line Lot Trait.
