If Sims have bags on their heads in The Sims 4, this indicates the We Wear Bags Neigborhood Action Plan got voted in. This NAP makes townies walk around with brown paper bags on their heads as a mark of their Eco Lifestyles.
As a quick reminder, the paper bag thing came with the Eco-Lifestyle expansion pack.
How do I get rid of paper bags in The Sims 4?
To remove the We Wear Bags NAP and make Sims stop wearing paper bags on their heads, press Ctrl, Shif, and C and and type in testingcheats true. Then, press Shift and click on a mailbox and select Instantly Repeal to disable this NAP.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to use cheats, you can repeal the We Wear Bags NAP by using the Petition for repeal option on mailboxes.
If you don’t have a mailbox, enter Build & Buy Mode, buy one and place it on your lot.
Additionally, go to game settings and disable autonomous NCP voting. In this manner, townies can no longer vote for the We Wear Bags NAP and paper bags won’t come back.
Keep in mind that although you can disable NPC voting, the NAPs will remain active until you repeal them.
If you want to check which NAPs are active for a specific neighborhood, place a voting board on a community lot. The board will display all the active NAPS in that neighborhood.
Sims wearing paper bags on their heads is really hilarious. Sometimes, you’ll see funny scenes such as townies with bags on their heads reading books, looking at computer screens, or dancing around.
NAPs and paper bags are specific to the Eco-Lifestyle pack. Another way to prevent Sims from wearing bags on their heads is to tweak your game settings and disable this expansion pack.
