If your Sim is pursuing a political career, they can run for President. Select the Politician Branch of the Political Career, and make sure to complete all the milestones required to go to the next level and build a successful political career.
After reaching Level 10 of the Political Career you can run to become a National Leader, aka President.
To increase your chances of getting elected as President in The Sims 4, make sure to level up your Sim’s Charisma and Politics skills.
Becoming president takes a lot of work as you have to secure many votes to get elected. Nevertheless, it’s a fun career. You can be an honest politician or play on the shady side and make empty promises.
The ideal mood for a President is Confident.
As a president, you’ll earn 340 Simoleons per hour and work only four days a week.
As you can see, being a politician won’t make you filthy rich. However, being able to influence other Sims is worth more than having access to an infinite amount of Simoleons.
If you have too much money, your Sim won’t know what to do with it anyway.
Unfortunately, EA and Maxis haven’t gone very deep into the Political Career branch. As a president, you don’t have access to unique interactions that allow you to change the world for the better.
