Sirens are known for their enchanting voices and the power they hold over sea travelers. In The Sims 4’s “Island Living” expansion pack, players can discover the effects of a Siren’s Lullaby first-hand.

But what does the Siren’s Lullaby do? How does it affect your Sim’s behavior? Let’s find out!

What does a Siren’s Lullaby do?

Mermaids can use a special power called The Siren’s Lullaby to change the emotional state of other Sims or mermaids. There are four different types of lullabies that a mermaid can sing to make Sims feel tense, flirty, inspired, or sad.

The Aegean’s Question lullaby removes Focused buffs and makes the target Sim tense.

The Charmer’s Lullaby removes the Embarrassed buff and puts Sims in a flirty mood.

Inspiring Berceuse is a lullaby that removes any Uncomfortable buffs and makes the target Sim inspired.

Night’s Requiem removes the Energized buff and makes Sims feel sad.

Each lullaby requires -30 Hydration and can be sung both on land and in water.

Mesmerize your Sims with the Siren’s Lullaby and change their emotions

Changing a Sim’s emotion can significantly impact their behavior.

Different emotions can affect your Sim’s behavior making them act in a specific way.

For example, a Sim who is feeling flirty may be more interested in flirting with other Sims. A Sim who is feeling sad may be less interested in socializing with other Sims.

Some skills in The Sims 4 are linked to specific emotions. A Sim who is feeling Tense will have a hard time leveling up their skills.

On the other hand, Sims who are feeling Inspired are able to boost their skills faster.

Overall, using a Siren’s Lullaby to change a Sim’s emotion can impact your gameplay experience, allowing you to explore different aspects of your Sim’s personality.
