Sims have literally become obsessed with their phones after the latest Sims 4 update. They’re completely glued to their devices.
If you don’t give your Sim a specific task, they’ll autonomously get their phone out of their pocket every 10 seconds.
This new behavior may seem a bit weird, but it’s actually realistic if you think about it. People are on their phones all the time. It makes perfect sense for The Sims 4 to capture this behavior.
Everybody’s obsessed with their phones in The Sims 4. Even elder Sims will get their phones out of their pocket if they don’t have anything to do.
Being addicted to one’s phone is typical behavior for teenagers. However, seeing elder Sims staring at their phones all the time is quite annoying.
Sims will often take out their phones even when they’re walking, sitting, or talking with other Sims.
Disable Social Bunny to break your Sim’s phone addiction
To prevent your Sims from checking their phone all the time, disable the Social Bunny app. If you deactivate their social media accounts, they should no longer check their phones compulsively.
Ridiculous situations
However, if your Sims keep checking their phones even if they don’t have Social Bunny, this is an issue indeed.
This could well be a bug that went undetected during the testing phase.
That’s the only thing that can explain why your Sim suddenly decides to use their phone whilst feeding the chickens and harvesting crops.
