A Lampoon Party is an event from The Sims 4 Get Famous expansion pack that only Sims with an Atrocious Reputation can host.
When you select the event, you get to choose the roles, host, and guest of honor.
The Guest of Honor will be the target of your roast.
During the party, click on the Sim with the “Guest of Honor” label and use the “Perform a Witty Takedown” interaction. This will trigger the roast.
Alternatively, if there’s a mic at the party, you can click on it and select this interaction.
How to successfully host a Lampoon Party in The Sims 4
The goal of a Lampoon Party is to make the Guest of Honor hysterical. Do your best to make them laugh hysterically and bring them to the point where they can die from laughter.
Do a few comedy sets for the group before you do the lampoon. Your guest of honor should already be Hysterical by then. Hit them with a witty takedown when they’re already laughing hysterically.
This recipe guarantees a quick visit from the Grim Reaper.
You can also use other strategies to get your guest of honor in a Very Playful mood. For example, use Playful decor, serve them Gummy Bear pancakes, or use a Voodoo Doll on them.
Successfully hosting a Lampoon Party includes rewards such as a fame boost, further reputation decrease, and a special award that comes in the form of a toilet.
Use mean interactions with the guests and make them feel uncomfortable and angry. The goal is to get everyone to dislike your Sim. Ideally, you should make them despise you.
Becoming despised will give your Sim a huge boost.
If you own the Get to Work expansion pack, use the satellite dish to make Sims angry. If you own Vampires, invite vampires over and encourage them to drink plasma from other Sims.
