The-Sims-4-Child-of-the-Ocean

Child of the Ocean is a lifestyle trait available in The Sims 4: Island Living.

Sims with the Child of the Ocean trait love water-related activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. They’ll get really Uncomfortable if they don’t regularly swim in the ocean.

Swimming in a pond is not enough for them. They need to swim in the ocean.

They also feel closer to the denizens of the sea. Basically, they feel like they are friends with every fish. That’s why they’ll get really sad when fishing.

The same thing happens when they see mounted fish. They’ll autonomously mourn their fish friends if there are fish decorations on the walls.

If they eat fish, they’ll instantly get the Uncomfortable moddlet. Their reaction is similar to that of vegetarian Sims.

Sims that have the Child of the Ocean trait are unable to drown. This means you can’t use this type of death to get rid of them. They won’t drown no matter what you do.

The Child of the Ocean trait gives your Sim lots of bonuses for talking to dolphins. It’s as if they spoke the same language.
