Sometimes, the only way to handle extremely talented players such as Mbappe and Neymar is to injure them. That’s not a fair-play approach, and it creates an unfair advantage, we can all agree on that.
However, desperate situations demand desperate measures. When explosive sprints, fake shots, and super knock-ons fail to work as intended, you’re forced to try a different approach.
What’s the easiest way to injure a player in FIFA?
The easiest way to injure a player in FIFA is to stand or slide tackle them aggressively. However, this method doesn’t work when playing FUT, it has no effect on rivals and champs.
But you can successfully use this approach in friendlies, especially on opponents that have the Injury Prone trait.
Select a player with high aggression and strength. Then, when your opponent is running at you, immediately go full speed at them and slide tackle them.
If you manage to use enough momentum, you can injure a player out of the game. Your opponent will be forced to make a sub. Slide tackling a player in the middle of an Elastico Animation increases the chances of causing severe injuries.
In Career Mode, injuries often occur from collisions, during a slide, or while running. A soft run-in can sometimes have disastrous consequences.
The most common injuries include knee, leg, or head injuries. Players often get injured when they land badly.
Watch out for that yellow card
Slide tackling the opponent’s Achilles heel may result in a sending-off. For some players, that’s not a risk worth taking. However, if you time your action right, you may only get a yellow card.
Practice makes perfect. If you want to master slide tackling, keep practicing until you get a feel for the right parameters and timing. Use this strategy at your own risk.
