There’s an annoying login error that’s preventing many New World players from connecting to the servers. If you’re experiencing the annoying mm_loginservices_TooManyRequestsException login error, rest assured, you’re not the only one.
The good news is that you can quickly fix it and I’ll show you exactly how you can do that.
How to fix “Too Many Requests Exception” New World error
Wait on the character screen for 2-5 minutes
When the TooManyRequestsException error pops on the screen, simply close the PopUp and wait for 2-5 minutes. Don’t click on Play, don’t edit your character, don’t close the game, don’t click anywhere else on the screen. Don’t do anything.
After a few minutes, the game will put you back into Queue at the exact same position from before the error message.
In other words, when the “TooManyRequestsException” error message appears on the screen, keep waiting on the character screen for 2-5 minutes. After 2-5 minutes, the game will switch you back to your queue slot.
Trouble ahead ⇒ New World players are complaining about weird bugs
If you click on the Play button, you will be queued into a new slot and placed at the end of that queue. This means you’ll have to wait longer to play the game.
Unfortunately, this workaround may not always do the trick. Apparently, this method doesn’t work if you get the error when your position in the queue is like sub 45.
The good news is that the development team are aware of the problem and they’re working on a fix.
Well one quick way to reduce wait times is to increase New World’s server population cap. But Amazon has yet to comment on this request.
