If your Summoning Bell disappeared from your inventory, sort your items. The bell should be in your key items. Most likely, it’s there but other items are showing up on top of the list.
If you still can’t find the Summoning Bell, it’s time to do some detective work.
What to do if your Summoning Bell is missing
Check if you can summon in your current location
The spirit summoning bell only works when the glowing gravestone symbol shows up in the left corner of the screen. If the game doesn’t think that the area you’re in is challenging enough, it won’t let you use spirit summons. There are specific locations where you cannot summon.
If you try to summon where you can’t, an animation will play out informing you the option is not available. Then the summoning bell will disappear. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to use it again after reaching a location where you can call spirits to help you in combat.
Check if you used a Furled Finger
If you’re in a boss area and your Summoning Bell is nowhere to be found, check if you already used a Furled Finger. You can’t summon spirits in multiplayer for obvious reasons.
Exit the game and restart your PC/console
If none of the above scenarios apply to you, maybe this is a glitch. Exit Elden Ring, and restart your computer or console. Wait until your device has booted up completely, and launch Elden Ring again. Check if your summoning bell is available in your inventory.
