Not everyone likes Lady Tanith and that’s understandable. Seeing her feast voraciously on Rykard’s corpse is not a pleasant sight. But should you really go as far as killing her? Let’s find out!
Should I kill Tanith in Elden Ring?
You should kill Tanith in Elden Ring to get your hands on her Consort set and unlock the Aspect of the Crucible: Breath incantation. Kill her while she’s feasting on Rykard’s corpse, and she’ll drop her set: Head, Chest and Legs of the Consort. After killing Tanith, her Knight will invade you. Kill him and he’ll drop the Aspect of the Crucible: Breath which is an Incantation that allows you to throw fire while walking.
If you let her live, the game story doesn’t change significantly. She’ll simply leave Volcano Manor together with all the NPCs and won’t give you the talisman.

You can find Tanith in Volcano Manor. She needs you to assassinate three individuals. After the first assassination, she’ll reward you with the Magma Shot. The second one brings you the Serpentbone Blade. After the third one, she’ll reward you with the Taker’s Cameo.
She’ll then ask you if you’re ready to meet Rykard. First, you need to defeat the God-Devouring Serpent, and then you can take on Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy.
After killing Rykard, it’s up to you if you kill or spare Tanith. However, killing her brings you more advantages than letting her live. Anyway, the choice is yours.
