You should definitely kill the Giant Dragon in Elden Ring. Killing him will reward you with 74,000 Runes and 5 Dragon Hearts that you can use to level up your character. The dragon is located outside Fort Faroth in the Caelid region.

Is the Giant Dragon hard to kill in Elden Ring?

The Giant Dragon has a lot of HP but is vulnerable to bleeding. Use a weapon that deals a great deal of Bleed damage such as the the Rivers of Blood Katana. Keep on chipping away at the dragon’s HP but don’t attack the head. The dragon won’t fight back as long as you don’t hit the head.

The moment you hit his head, he’ll start roaring, waking up the other sleeping dragons. They’ll immediately attack you and try to kill you. The roar of the Giant Dragon will also lower your attack and defense.

  1. I killed him without any issues from him or other dragons. Just warp to the grace that is behind him and in front of Fort Faroth. Then go to his back side and wack away! It definitely took some time since I’m still pretty early in the game, but simple none the less! Happy hunting!
