Don’t ignore the notifications that alert you about your PlantSim getting parched. Your Sim can die if they fail to hydrate.
Being a PlantSim is not permanent. Five days after eating a Forbidden Fruit and becoming a PlantSim, your Sim will get the Wilting moodlet.
This buff indicates the effect of the Forbidden Fruit is dissipating and your Sim will become a normal Sim again.
The whole process lasts for about 18 hours.
How to find a Forbidden Fruit in Sims 4
Your Sim needs to be a Level 10 Gardener and complete the Magic Beans Collection to grow a Forbidden Tree. After mastering the Gardening Skill, keep buying rare plant seeds until you find the six Magic Beans.
Buy a Magical Plant Tree Stump and plant the six Magic Beans. They will grow into a Magic Bean Portal Tree. Go through the portal after 10 AM and keep exploring until you find the Forbidden Fruit.
If you own Eco-Lifestyle, you can find Forbidden Fruit in bins. Use the Dive for Ingredients interaction to have your Sim look for various items in the containers.
Should I eat or plant the Forbidden Fruit in Sims 4?
The best option is to plant the first Forbidden Fruit that you find in The Sims 4. This is a scarce fruit. It may take several days or even weeks before you find another Forbidden Fruit.
Plant the Forbidden Fruit, water it, and fertilize it to grow your own Forbidden Fruit Tree. The tree typically takes 4-5 days to be ready to harvest.
Harvest the fruit and sell it to earn some extra Simoleons. Or keep it in your Sim’s inventory and eat it if you want to become a PlantSim.
