Fated Mates are a new feature in The Sims 4 Werewolves where two Werewolves can form a long-lasting connection. As you flirt with another werewolf, you’ll get all sorts of clues about your fated mate.
However, discovering your fated mate doesn’t mean you absolutely have to embrace that connection. If you’re not completely convinced you should be with your fated mate, you can deny that connection.
A Werewolf will only ever have one fated mate.
In other words, if you choose to ignore the connection to your fated mate, there will not be a second fated mate for you.

Will this feature push Simmers to take things further with their first and only fate mate? Possibly.
Alternatively, you can create multiple game saves and Sims to explore both scenarios. In one scenario, you accept and develop a connection with your fated mate. In the second scenario, you simply deny the connection.
However, someone’s going to feel really sad.
How to find your Fated Mate in The Sims 4
To find your Fated Mate as a werewolf in The Sims 4, flirt with other werewolves. If you want to ensure a specific Sim becomes your Fated Mate, start flirting with that Sim.
When you successfully find your Fated Mate, a purple notification box will appear in the upper corner of the screen.
Once you’ve identified your Fated Mate, focus on building a relationship with them. Romantic interactions have a higher chance of success with a Fated Mate.
Fated Mates in the game can be any age. The game gives you the option to have Fated Mates assigned randomly or manually chosen by you.
If you consistently use romantic interactions with a specific werewolf, there’s a good chance that the game will assign them as your Fated Mate.
Can I delete the Fated Mate relationship?
To remove the sentiment of being Fated Mates in The Sims, follow these steps:
- Enable cheats
- Take control of the sim who is in the Fated Mate relationship
- Hold down the Shift key and click on their mate
- Select Cheat relationship
- Click on Remove relationship
- Select the Fated Mates option
By doing this, the sentiment of being Fated Mates will be removed from their relationship.
Cheats to change Fated Mates
You can use the following cheat code to remove the Fated Mate status between two Sims:
- modifyrelationship [your Sim’s name] [Fated Mate’s name] -100 sentimentTrack_Enamored_ST_FatedMates
To assign your Sim as a Fated Mate, use the following cheat code:
- modifyrelationship [your Sim’s name] [target Fated Mate’s name] 100 sentimentTrack_Enamored_ST_FatedMates

- You need to use the full names of your Sim and their Fated Mate for these cheat codes to work.
Who is Greg’s Fated Mate in The Sims 4?
Avelina was Greg’s Fated Mate in The Sims 4. Initially a Mooncaster, she later became a werewolf. Avelina skillfully employed her scientific knowledge to analyze the lunar cycle.

I embraced mine with Rory Oaklow and there was no romance interaction that came with it. So my Sims are fated mates I guess.
