Vampire Lore is a very important skill in The Sims 4: Vampires. If you want your Sim to become a Grand Master Vampire, you need to max out their Vampire Lore skill.
This is the first skill in The Sims 4 that has 15 levels. Sim skills typically have 10 levels.
How do you level up your Vampire Lore in The Sims 4?
To master the Vampire Lore skill, your Sim needs to become a Vampire History buff. Click on the computer and look up Vampire Secrets to learn more about your kin. Read all the vampire books that you can get your hands on.
After reaching Level 3 of the Vampire Lore skill, you can purchase Encyclopedia Vampirica tomes and learn more about vampire skills.
Click on the computer, select Vampire Secrets, and select Purchase Vampire Tomes. There are 4 vampire books that you can purchase. Each book raises your Vampire Lore to a certain level.
After purchasing the Ultimate Vampire Tome (Level 15), the Vampire Lore skill will no longer increase.
When you meet a higher-rank vampire, ask them about Vampire History. Don’t forget to ask them for training as well. This will help you level up your vampire skills faster and unlock new interactions, recipes, and drinks.

Here are the vampire abilities you can unlock with each Vampire Lore skill level:
- Level 1: Click on the computer and look up Vampire Secrets to learn more about vampires.
- Level 2: Purchase Encyclopedia Vampirica Volume 1.
- Level 3: Order Plasma Packs.
- Level 4: Make Plasma Packs.
- Note: You’ll need fish and frogs to craft this recipe. Frogs provide better plasma packs than fish.
- Level 5: Make Garlic Braids, Garlic Wreaths, and Garlic Garlands using raw garlic.
- Level 6: Purchase Encyclopedia Vampirica Volume 2.
- Level 7: Unlock a new social interaction called Share Vampire Knowledge.
- Level 8: Purchase Plasma Fruit, Wolfsbane, and Sixam Mosquito Trap seeds.
- Level 9: Make Plasma Fruit Salad and Plasma Jane drink.
- Level 10: Purchase Encyclopedia Vampirica Volume 3.
- Level 11: Make the Sunlight Reversal Cocktail. This drink makes you temporarily immune to the sun’s rays.
- Level 12: Make the Vampire Resistance Cocktail. This drink makes you temporarily immune to vampire powers when attacked.
- Level 13: Purchase the Ultimate Vampire Tome.
- Level 14: Make the Draught of Reconfiguration drink. Use this drink to reset your vampire’s power points.
- Level 15: Unlock the Ultimate Vampire Cure.
What is the highest level in Vampire Lore in The Sims 4?
The highest Vampire Lore level is Level 15. After reaching this level, your Sim will no longer unlock new abilities and recipes.
However, you can continue reading the Ultimate Vampire Tome to earn more experience points and use them to purchase additional vampire powers.
At Vampire Lore Level 15, you’ll learn the Ultimate Vampire Cure recipe. This allows you to turn your vampire into a normal Sim.
You’ll need the following ingredients to make this recipe: 10 Garlic, 10 Wolfsbane, 10 Plasma Fruit, and 2,500 Simoleons.
What is the cheat to level up the Vampire Lore skill in The Sims 4?
If you want to instantly level your Sim’s Vampire Lore skill, use the stats.set_skill_level VampireLore InsertLevel cheat code. Simply replace “InsertLevel” with a number from 1 to 15.
To max out your Vampire Lore skill, use the stats.set_skill_level VampireLore 15 cheat code.
