There are no actual unicorns in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion pack.
However, there is a unicorn horn accessory that you can place on a horse’s head.
The unicorn horn gives horses a sparkly aura around them and an echoey voice.
But hey, don’t get too excited! It’s just for show and doesn’t come with any special powers or unique perks.
You can use this accessory to customize your horses in CAS mode.
As you can see, while there won’t be fully-fledged unicorns in this pack, there is some minor unicorn-related content available.
Unicorns Don’t Fit with the Horse Ranch Theme
The Horse Ranch expansion pack focuses on country-western aesthetics and equestrian activities.
Unicorns, being mythical and fantastical creatures, don’t fit well with the theme and atmosphere EA intended for this particular pack.
Unicorns, if added, could potentially introduce unique gameplay mechanics and interactions that might require significant development and testing.
Balancing these new elements with the existing features in the game could be challenging.

There are a lot of clues pointing in this direction. JackOfAllTrades found a Unicorn in Buy Debug. This could also suggest Unicorns were planned and then scrapped.
