The-Sims-4-treehouse

In The Sims 4 Growing Together, players can build really nice treehouses where kids can have fun and hang out with their loved ones and friends.

The whole family can participate in building the tree house.

You need to have an adult start building the treehouse but then children can help out. You can have multiple Sims working on the treehouse at the same time.

How can I build a treehouse in The Sims 4?

You can purchase treehouses in Build & Buy Mode. When it’s purchased, your treehouse is fully unbuilt.

Click on it and have your Sim assemble it. Ensure all of the pieces fit together.

Once the treehouse is fully built, it becomes functional.

Sims can go up and down using the ladder, play games, set admission rules, play on the treehouse balcony, sit on the bench, sleep in the enclosure, relax, and have a chat with their friends.

You can also relax or nap in the treehouse, or just sit on the bench and watch nature.

Customize your treehouse

You can customize the treehouse to your liking.

You can add different decorations such as Fairy Tale decorations, Space Explorer decorations, or Island Castaway decorations.

You can also place various objects on the treehouse balcony, such as toys, activity tables, stuffed animals, and doll houses.

For example, you can place a small telescope and use it to gaze at the night sky.

You can also set up specific entry rules to prevent adults from entering the treehouse.

The objects that you can place in the treehouse are available under the Placeable on Treehouse category in Build & Buy mode.

All the placeable objects are usable in the treehouse. They’re not just for decoration purposes.

Growing Together has added a new woohoo location to the game. Adult Sims can also woohoo in the treehouse.

They’ll get the Fresh Air Love Affair buff after woohooing in the treehouse. Woohooing outdoors can spruce up your Sim’s love life.

Speaking of moodlets, Sims may occasionally get the Splinters buff after woohooing in a treehouse. They’ll be dealing with splinters in unspeakable places.

Upgrade your treehouse

You can upgrade your treehouse and add a bell, a sliding pole that Sims can use to slide down to exit the enclosure, and lights to keep it lit up.

To upgrade the treehouse, you need an adult Sim with a high enough Handiness skill and some upgrade parts at hand.

⇒ Fun Fact:

If your child Sim has the Creative Genius aspiration, they need to complete the “Play Pretend in Treehouse” milestone. You can’t do that without building a treehouse first.
