How to stop a baby from crying in The Sims 4

The-Sims-4-make-baby-stop-crying

If your babies won’t stop crying in The Sims 4, this typically indicates their needs are not met. To make them feel better, identify what needs are in the red and take action to bring them in the green.

Feed your babies, change their diapers, pick them up, and socialize with them until they stop crying.

Sometimes, babies just need someone to talk to and cuddle them. They’re just lonely and need company.

If they won’t stop crying,  go to Manage Worlds and try moving the whole family out and back in.

If you’re using mods, disable them and delete the localthumbcache file from The Sims 4 folder to make sure nothing’s interfering with your babies’ behavior.

Restart the game and check if you notice any improvements.

Each baby is different

Babies are different in The Sims 4. Some won’t stop crying forcing you to endure three days of crying baby.

Other babies are really chill and happy and require feeding only once a day. They are quiet until they need something.

That’s usually during the night when they need their diaper changed or become spooked.

If nothing works and your babies keep crying, you can age the little monsters up. Keep in mind that all of their needs will be in the red when they become children.

Use a few Friendly interactions, give them food and their needs should go in the green.
