Why do my Sims keep getting embarrassed?

Sims-keep-getting-embarrassed-The-Sims-4

Many Simmers have complained about getting the “Cannot Unsee” or “Privacy Invaded” moodlet for no apparent reason.

If your Sims keep getting embarrassed for no reason, this is usually a mod or CC-related issue. You can fix the problem by updating all of your mods and CC to the latest version. If the issue persists, disable Mods and weed out your CC to find the culprit.

Teens will often get the Embarrassed moodlet just from being a teenager. Every little thing is embarrassing to them. They also have frequent mood swings.

What to do if your Sims keep getting embarrassed

Reset your Sims

Try resetting your Sims and check if they still get embarrassed out of the blue.

Press Ctrl, Shift, and C, type in testingcheats true, and hit Enter to enable cheat codes. Then, type in resetSim Firstname Lastname (the full name of the Sim you want to reset), and press Enter again.

Have your Sims travel to a different lot

Have your Sims travel to a different lot, let them spend a few minutes there, and bring them back to their usual location. Check if the Embarrassed buff still shows up on the screen.

Update your Mods

Outdated mods and CC can sometimes break certain game functionalities. Make sure to update all of your game, mods, and CC to the latest version.

Restart The Sims 4 and check if you notice any improvements.

Disable Mods, delete your cache and repair the game

If the Embarrassed moodlet persists, move your Mods folder to your desktop.

Navigate to your Sims 4 folder in Documents, and delete the localthumbcache.package file. The game will automatically generate a fresh file when you hit the Play button.

Then, go to your Origin Library, right-click on The Sims 4, and select Repair Game. Wait until your game files are scanned and repaired.

Weed out your mods and CC using the 50/50 method to find the guilty party. Most likely, a piece of CC is conflicting with the latest The Sims 4 update.

Restart the game and check the results.

Hope something helps.
