Sims 4 High School Years: Puberty can be challenging

Sims-4-High-School-Years-Puberty

The Sims 4 High School Years expansion pack lets you experience puberty through the eyes of your teenage Sims.

Puberty happens to everyone and your Sims get to experience the full effects of being a teenager.

They’ll get acne breakouts and body hair that can grow out of control.

Acne and puberty in Sims 4

Most teenage Sims will get acne at some point as part of their puberty years.

To prevent acne outbreaks, have your Sim apply a facial cleanser solution every day.

Click on the mirror or sink, and select Apply Facial Cleanser to get the job done.

You can also apply a concealer. However, you’re only masking the problem that way, you’re not solving it.

Acne outbreaks will cause your Sim to feel embarrassed and get the Growing Out of Control buff. This happens when your teenage Sim wakes up to even more acne.

Body hair

Teenage Sims can groom and trim their body hair’s natural growth over time. You’ve got four types of body hair in the game: arm, torso, leg, and back.

Your teenage Sim can shave body hair to keep it under control. To do that, click on the Shower and select which type of body hair your Sim should shave and to what length.

Your Sim can shave off or shave body hair to a preferred length.

While body hair is available in the base game as well, the option to enable body hair growth is available only in High School Years.

Joke about acne and body hair

To brighten things up, you can always choose to joke about acne and body hair. This will encourage Sims going through puberty to feel better about the changes their bodies are going through.

You can also choose to support your friends’ body hair to make them feel better about themselves.

Experiencing puberty is not easy for your teenage Sims. Having supportive friends can make a big difference.

Happy Simming!
