Science Baby is a social interaction available in the base game that lets you have a Science Baby with another Sim.
You also have the option to have a Science Baby as a single parent.
You can also click on your phone and select the Science Baby interaction if you want to use it.
You’ll need to shell out 1,200 Simoleons to use this option.
The game will suggest a few Sims you can have a Science Baby with.
Sims that you don’t have a romantic relationship with will also show up on the Science Baby list.
Thanks to this option, you can tell whatever story you want to.
For example, you can build a surrogacy story. Or a story where you want to have a child with a Sim without committing to a long-term relationship.
That can be your woohoo partner or any other Sim you think has good genes.
You can also create a story where you have a child with your ex-partner.
As you can see, this feature captures a lot of possibilities for your stories.
Same-sex partners can have a Science Baby together.
They’ll make a quick trip to the hospital and use their genetic material to have a baby through science.
When having a Science Baby, Sims won’t go through the same steps or phases that a normal pregnancy involves. They simply go to the hospital and get the baby on the same day.
They can also get twins if they’re lucky that day.
That’s how science works in The Sims 4! The results are lightning-fast.
