Dealing with restless toddlers in The Sims 4 can be really frustrating, especially if both parents are working and don’t have the resources to hire a nanny.
Luckily, there are several ways to prevent nightmares in The Sims 4 and help your toddlers sleep soundly through the night.
How do I make my toddler stop having nightmares in The Sims 4?
Read your toddler a bedtime story
The simplest and easiest way to make toddlers stop having nightmares in the Sims 4 is to read them a bedtime story.
This simple bedtime ritual helps to calm and soothe your toddlers, leading to a more restful night’s sleep.
If you have more than one toddler, finding the time to read to both of them can be a challenge, but it’s worth it.
Nightmares are very rare in my game as long as I remember to read to my toddlers.
Turn on the night lights from Parenthood
The night lights included in the Parenthood pack are really helpful in preventing nightmares. They will give your toddler a Happy moodlet while sleeping.
Just place them near your toddler’s bed and keep them on all night long.
Improve your toddler’s Thinking skill
Leveling up your toddler’s thinking skill will reduce the frequency of nightmares.
After reaching Level 3 of the Thinking skill, your toddler will sleep better through the night.
By the time they reach level 5, they will be able to sleep uninterrupted without experiencing any nightmares. Plus, they’ll be able to go to bed on their own when they’re feeling sleepy.
Have toddlers listen to lullabies
Have the toddlers listen to lullabies before going to bed. Put a radio in their room and direct them to listen to the lullaby station.
They’ll get a positive moodlet from listening to lullabies and then their parents can put them to bed or you can direct them to go to sleep.
