The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories game pack takes you to the wonderful world of Tartosa where you can plan the perfect wedding event for your Sims. This game pack also introduces the option to buy the wedding cake from patisserie shops.
Unfortunately, Wy Wedding Stories is affected by a few annoying bugs that may sometimes make weddings unplayable.
Sims 4 My Wedding Stories reported bugs
Wedding venues don’t work
When you select one of the Wedding Venues available to host your wedding party, nothing happens. In other words, wedding venues, a central part of the game pack are sometimes completely unplayable. Exit the game, launch it again, start a new save, and check if you notice any changes.
Sims won’t sit down or watch the ceremony
My Wedding Stories brings a special interaction that allows players to have the wedding guests sit down and watch the ceremony. Unfortunately, this interaction doesn’t always work. And even if Sims do sit down, they prefer to talk with other Sims instead of watching the ceremony. It seems the AI in the game needs more tweaking.
Players can’t book wedding events
If you click on the phone to book a new wedding event, nothing happens. Try booking your wedding events via the Calendar instead.
Wedding cakes spoil instantly
Many players have complained about wedding cakes spoiling the minute they are taking out of inventory. Taking this detail into consideration, maybe you should hire a caterer to take care of everything. However, keep in mind they rarely take their job seriously.
Other bugs
- If the flower pal and ring bearer are kids, they don’t care about your Sims’ wedding. All they’ll do is run around.
- Sims won’t pay attention to toasts.
- Guests won’t wear formal wedding attire.
- Wedding goals won’t show up.
As a quick reminder, EA has pushed My Wedding Stories back to February 23. Let’s hope the devs manage to squash all those bugs by the time the game pack gets released.
