The Grim Reaper is a fascinating NPC that shows up on your lot when one of your Sims hit the bucket. You can also do a lot of activities with Grim and even marry him.
Did you know that you can also add multiple custom Grim Reapers in a single Sims 4 save? You read that right, multiple characters can occupy the same Grim Reaper career.
Sounds interesting? Here’s how you can do that.
How to add multiple custom Grim Reapers in a single save in Sims 4
- Create your household in CAS
- Move it to your lot
- Then, enter your household in Live Mode
- Press CTRL, Shift and C to open the Cheats Console
- Enter testingcheats true to enable cheats
- Enter sims.get_sim_id_by_name [First name] [Last name] to locate the Sim ID of your Grim Reaper
- Then, enter the careers.add_career career_Adult_NPC_GrimReaper [ID] command to add the Reaper career to your Reaper Sim
- Enter the traits.equip_trait isGrimReaper [ID] command to assign the Grim Reaper trait to your Reaper Sim
- Ensure your Reaper Sim floats in Live Mode
- Navigate to Manage Worlds
- Evict your household from the lot
- Disable Neighborhood Stories for your household
- Mark your Reaper Sims as unplayed
Custom Reapers are not occults. They’re just normal Sims with the Grim Reaper trait and career.
Repeat the steps 6-8 for every Sim you want to turn into a custom Reaper. When a Sim dies, the game will select a random Reaper to take care of all the soul reaping matters. If another Reaper is already in that world, the game will send local Reapers to reap the souls of dead Sims.
All your custom Reapers will have the same voice since they all share the same Grim Reaper trait.
If you have MCCC installed, freeze the career of your Reapers, and flag them as homeless and immortal to avoid incompatibility issues.
If you want to keep your achievements on consoles, use a new save file to create your Reapers. Don’t forget to mark them as unplayed.
You can create teen Reapers
You can also create teen Reapers. To do that, create an adult Reaper, and use CAS to alter their age. Teen Reapers have two careers: Soul Reaper and High School Student. Flag them as homeless and unplayed. Don’t forget to turn off Neighborhood Stories.
Conclusion
To create multiple custom Grim Reapers in Sims 4, create a new save. Then, use the Cheats Console to add the Grim Reaper career and trait to your Reaper Sim. Evict the Reaper household from the lot, mark Reaper Sims as unplayed and disable Neighborhood Stories.
