Sims 4: How to make your Sim Dazed

Sims-4-how-to-make-Sim-Dazed

If you have Eco-Lifestyle installed, all the townies will get the Dazed buff when the Juiced Community NAP is active. However, active Sims won’t get Dazed.

As a matter of fact, Dazed is a very rare emotion. Some Sims may never experience it.

Let’s explore what you can do to make your Sim dazed.

How do I make my Sim dazed in Sims 4?

There are multiple ways to make your Sim dazed in The Sims 4. Crashing with a Rocket Ship, using a voodoo doll on your Sim, or eating the Muckleberry plant will make your Sim Dazed.

You can also have your Sim fight with other Sims to trigger the Dazed buff. After three or four fights, they’ll feel Beaten Up and Dazed.

Sims with a high Comedy skill level can make other Sims dazed with a Weaponized Joke.

The Sentiment of Being Enamoured can trigger the Dazed buff. This usually happens when your Sim is very much in love with their partner.

Sims will get Dazed if they take medicine when they’re not ill, or get hypnotized by a vampire.

If you own Cottage Living, your Sim will get the Dazed buff for the next 4 hours after eating Mushroom Mash.

Failing to use the Bubble Blower and choking on bubbles will make your Sims Dazed.

Dazed Sims tend to be scattered-brained. They often forget what they’re doing, and drop activities from their queue. They also need more time to complete tasks.

Don’t repair electronic devices while Dazed

Never try to repair electronic devices while the Dazed buff is active, especially if your Sim has a low Handiness skill level or the Cursed lot challenge is active. They’ll die of electrocution.

Dazed Sims typically function with fewer skill points in every skill. They tend to loose 3 or 4 skill points when dazed.

In other words, a Sim with Level 5 Handiness skill would repair broken items with a skill level of 2 or so.

That’s why dazed Sims can be killed off easier by electrocution.

How to get rid of the Dazed mood?

The quickest way to get rid of the Dazed buff in The Sims 4 is to have your Sim take a nap or sleep. After a quick nap or a good night’s sleep, the Dazed buff will disappear and your Sim will behave normally again.

Speaking of Sims behaving erratically, did you know that Sims can get possessed? This mood will instantly override all the other emotions.

Happy Simming!
