The Graduation Ceremony in Sims 4 High School Years takes place after your teenage Sim has aged up. The ceremony is held at the Copperdale Auditorium on Sunday at 6:00 PM. The event is by invitation only.
You can follow your now young adult Sims at the ceremony and interact with the other participants.
Principal Prescott will hand the diplomas to the graduands officially marking the end of their high school years.
Of course, your Sim will get to wear their graduation cap and gown. They can also serve food and punch at the rear of the auditorium.
How to prepare for the Graduation Ceremony in Sims 4
After receiving and accepting the invitation to the Graduation Ceremony, your Sim can start to prepare for the big event.
They can put on their best clothes, or go to the ThriftTea thrift shop and create a unique outfit for the event.
They can also invite family and friends as guests and buy gifts for their colleagues and teachers.
How to become Valedictorian in Sims 4
To become Valedictorian in The Sims 4, your Sim needs to be a straight-A student. To do that, they need to attend all of their classes, do their homework every day, do homework for extra credit, and study for exams.
Valedictorian students get to give a speech in front of their colleagues and teachers at the end of the Graduation Ceremony.
As you can see, all of the decisions that your Sim has made throughout their high school years will impact how their graduation plays out.
Diligent students get to steal the spotlight. Maybe they haven’t been the most popular students during their high school years, but they can shine bright on Graduation Ceremony day.
Not everybody gets to attend the Graduation Ceremony
Sims that dropped out of high school, those who graduated early, and those who don’t meet the mark don’t get to attend the Graduation Ceremony.
The Graduation Ceremony is an invitation-only event. If you don’t get an invitation, you can’t join the fun.
Attending the Graduation Ceremony is optional. Your Sim can choose to skip the event and do something else instead.
If attending the event is too much for your socially awkward Sim, you can simply hit the Skip button.
